Saturdays - 11:00 AM, Wednesdays - 7:30 PM

We'd love to welcome you to our church family. Stop by Reaching Hearts International anytime, and let us know that you're a visitor.

"...For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." (Isaiah 56:7)

If you are seeking Christ, you will find Him here; if sorrowing, receive comfort; if troubled in spirit, gain the blessings of peace; if discouraged, rejoice in hope; if friendless, seek companionship and Christian love.

  • Is there parking?
We have ample parking in our onsite parking lot, free of charge. Guests are invited to park out front near the main entrance for convenience, but are welcome to park anywhere.
  • What should I wear?
Come as you are! Everyone at Reaching Hearts dresses in a variety of styles depending on his or her background and preferences. Some people wear very casual clothes, and some dress more formally, while others choose to wear traditional clothing representing their country of origin. You are welcome to dress however you feel comfortable!
  • Are my children welcome to attend the church service?
We believe in multi-generational participation during church service. Our community intentionally invests in the spiritual well-being of our youth, and believes that empowering them to lead in the church is essential to their development. This begins with inclusion, and therefore, children of all ages are always welcome. There is available a mother's room located in the back of the sanctuary, for those who feel more comfortable in a more private space. 'Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."' (Matthew 19:13-14)
  • What is service like?
Our 90 minute church service includes: congregational singing, prayer, welcome messages and announcements, a children's story, special music, and a sermon from either one of our pastors or a guest speaker. Our sermons dig deep into the Bible, helping you understand scripture's relevance in daily live, affirming the authority of the Bible, and preparing God's people for the soon return of Jesus Christ through the careful study of prophecy. Bring your Bible, and a notepad if you like to take notes.
  • Is there Sabbath School?
Come early and join one of our Sabbath School classes for children, collegiate/young adults or adults. There is something for all ages. Just ask one of our greeters at the front door, and they will be happy to direct you. Sabbath School begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends by 10:45 a.m each Saturday. Each discussion group covers a variety of topics related to the Bible and living out our faith.
  • When does church service typically end?
    Usually between 12:30 and 12:45 p.m.
  • Where can I watch if I can't attend in person?
Every Saturday we live-stream the service on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
  • What opportunities are there for children?
Every Saturday, we have engaging Sabbath School classes dedicated to all age groups that start at 10:00 a.m. Ask a greeter at the door and they can direct you and your child(ren) to the appropriate class. We also have Adventurers and Pathfinders clubs. Be sure to ask Pastor Micah to learn more about how to get your child involved in either of these two programs. Youth Bible Study takes place Wednesday nights from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. For more information please call 301-717-9556 or email Pastor Micah. Throughout the year, we also plan a variety of child friendly events such as: camping trips, game nights, holiday plays, mission trips, feeding the homeless, and more!
